Make Them Be Good

Lord Jesus, I want you to make them be good
I’ve tried and I can’t though I thought that I could

Make them to be faithful and always do right 

So all of the mommies can sleep well at night 

Grant me the serenity that they’ll choose best
And will cling to Your Word when facing each test 

Lord, please give me wisdom in letting them go
O, help me to trust You whenever they’re low

I want them to love You with all of their heart
So they’ll get a glimpse of how great that Thou art.

Lord Jesus, I want You to make them be good
But if Calv’ry’s cross won’t, I know not what would.
