Out of Control
"Yours is the mighty power and glory and victory and majesty. Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything." 1 Chronicles 29:11
1 Chronicles 29:12 tells us, "Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the ruler of all mankind; your hand controls power and might, and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength."
Do you like being in control?
As God continues His loving refinement of us, He requires us to give up control. We must give up complete control of every area, every aspect, every outcome and result in our lives to Him. It is the only way our lives will ever reflect and project His love to others.
And Psalm 95:4 says, "He controls the formation of the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains; all are his."
Consciously or unconsciously, even when we think we have control over life and its outcomes, we don't.
So, what are you waiting for? Are you out of control yet? Have you surrendered complete control over every area of your life to Jesus?
