Hand In Hand

"For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you."  Isaiah 41:13

Throughout all of life's struggles and wrestling, it is such a great comfort and joy for those who follow Jesus that He is always there with us in the midst of the struggle, holding our right hand.

Scripture tells us, "Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear;" (Isaiah 59:1). But we cannot stop there. Verse 2 in the chapter continues the thought, "but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear."

And Psalms 63:8 says, "I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely."

If we do not feel his hand holding our right hand securely, perhaps we're the one who has let go.

I don't have all of the answers to all of life's problems or the struggles you may be facing today.  But I can point you to the one who does.

His name is Jesus.

"The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see—a splendid crown in the hand of God" (Isaiah 62:3).

Goodnight, Runners.
