In The Secret Place

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91:1

Do you know where to find God's secret place?

As a small child I always loved secret hiding places. 

It was fun being very close to someone without them even knowing I was there.  I would sometimes put a surprise or their favorite something right next to them just to make them wonder how it got there.  I loved it when they wanted my company enough to hunt for me, too.

I think God is like that.

Acts 17:27 says, "His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us."

He is very close to us, giving such good gifts that we often can’t even imagine how we received them.  He hunts for us.  And He wants us to desire His company enough to hunt for Him, too.

There is a secret place I go to find Him every day.  I’ve never found Him missing.
