Look at Me - Part Deux

“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.“  Psalm 105:4

The culture all around us is screaming it.  Facebook says it.  Twitter says it.  Instagram says it.  Tik Tok says it.  LinkedIn says it.  Even the new Truth Social says it.  What is it they are all saying?

Look. At. Me.

All the while, Jesus whispers, “Look at Me.”  But do we hear His gentle whisper above all the screaming of our culture?  Do we hear the loving call of His sweet voice. . . the voice that calls to us saying, “Follow Me (Matthew 4:19) . . .”  The voice so soft that guides us into all truth, holiness. 

Following Jesus and being refined by Him will lead us through suffering.  But this suffering is not something to be feared.  

No. 

This is a suffering to teach us, to establish our character, to make us more beautiful than anything.  And it is to train our hearts and minds to look at Him.  

Always.

Will you?  Look at Him, I mean.
