Real Love

“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John 4:10

Do you feel loved today?

No matter what you're going through, what circumstance you are facing . . . whether you feel loved or not . . . you are loved.  You are loved by the very One who made you.  You are loved by the One who created your body, your soul, your spirit—who knows every little detail about you.  He knows even the number of hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30; Luke 12:7).

There is no one in all the world who will ever love you more than God.

The Holy Bible tells us in Romans 5:8, "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners."

Romans 8:38-39 proclaims, "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Though these acts and words are profound, God's love for us was not just in the past, but He continues to show His great love for us every day in a myriad of ways—ways only God could show love.  Do you see it?

Will you open your spiritual eyes to see and feel His great love for you--all around you--today?

I don't know what circumstances you are  facing today, but I do know, without a shadow of a doubt, that God loves you.  

And. He. Won't. Ever. Stop.

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." Romans 8:28

"May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God."  Ephesians 3:19
