Before the world began today
The evening stars shone bright
And each one had a different tone
And hue to pierce the night

The melodies of God’s own thought
Sang perfectly in tune
Adorning each dark corner piece
And dancing with the moon

Before the world began today
Life seemed but just a dream
While Jesus held me safe and sound
Embraced by love’s fierce theme

The future doesn’t scare me
