Square Pegs and Round Holes

God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us."  1 Corinthians 12:6

I've known for most of my life that I'm a bit of a square peg.  

Maybe you are, too.

The Holy Bible tells me that's a good thing.  It says that God made us all different for a reason, and that when we use our different gifts as He intends, the body of Christ functions just the way it should.

1 Corinthians 12:18-21 tells us, "But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it.  How strange a body would be if it had only one part!  Yes, there are many parts, but only one body.  The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you.”

1 Corinthians 12:17 says, "If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear?  Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything?"

For the past few nights I've been praying and asking God to take me where He wants me to go, to help me see where He's working around me, that I might join Him in the work.
