Sweet Answered Prayer

My Father bends to listen to me
When I bow to pray
Faithful, ever faithful listening
To each word I say

Not only does He listen to me
But His answer’s sure
Testing every motive in me
Knowing if it’s pure

His answer’s always better, though I
Often fail to see
The depth of His unfailing love,
Unfailing love for me.
