The court is now in session
Your turn is drawing near
You won't have an attorney
No witness needed here
It's just you and your Maker
The One True Living God
And, what have you to show Him
About the path you've trod
Yes, go ahead and tell Him
The things that you have done
The people you have rescued
The ones you've shown His Son
The love you've shown the hated
The mercy that you've shared
The ones to whom you've listened
The sick for whom you've cared
The lives you've shown compassion
The needs which you have met
The poor you've fed in His name
Or, have you done that yet
What's that you say, tomorrow
You had no time today
You thought you would have more time
To follow Jesus' way
And, how have you judged others
In prayer, on bended knee
For how you have judged others
Is how He will judge thee
Your time, my friend, is over
This gift, your life, is through
There's no more time to serve Him
