A Vested Interest
"I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. A hired man will run when he sees a wolf coming and will leave the sheep, for they aren’t his and he isn’t their shepherd. And so the wolf leaps on them and scatters the flock. The hired man runs because he is hired and has no real concern for the sheep." John 10:11–13
If you’ve ever owned a business, you know that no one cares about your business like you do. You may hire very good people, but they just don’t have the same vested interest that you have. If there is a fire, the hired help will go home. You are the one who will need to clean up the smoke damage.
As a parent, I have the same type of vested interest in my children. When I leave them in the care of others, those other people may do a good job, but they do not have the same depth of interest, care, duty, or responsibility that I have as my children’s mother.
It is like that with our Heavenly Father. He made us. He made all the delicate inner parts of our body, and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). He has a vested interest in what happens to us. He loves us with a love that cannot even be grasped or understood in human terms. There is no one on the earth, on the moon, or on the stars who could possibly love us more or have more invested in our success than our Father, our Savior, our Jesus.
Christ sacrificed His life for us. How could we ever think of living even one moment of our life apart from Him?
“Savior, like a shepherd lead us, much we need thy tender care.”[1]

You certainly understand how to bring an issue to light and make it important.
More people ought to read this and understand this side of the story.
I was surprised you're not more popular given that you definitely possess the gift.
