The Pleasure of Knowing Him
"You have let me experience the joys of life and the exquisite
pleasures of your own eternal presence." Psalm 16:11
It
is such a joy to have the pleasure of knowing God!
Each
and every day, He reveals more of Himself to us, sharing more of His amazing
divine nature and unconditional love.
As
we grow deeper in our relationship with Him, we are able to become more like
Him. We are a reflection of Him, and others are able to see that.
Do
others see Jesus in you?
Psalm
104:31 tells us, “May the glory of the Lord
continue forever! The Lord takes pleasure in all he has made!"
We are God’s creation, and He takes pleasure in us.
When we take the time to have a deep personal relationship
with Him, we take pleasure in Him, too.
He is awesome. He is wonderful!
Living in His presence fills our lives with unspeakable
joy.
Isaiah 35:5–6 says, “And when he comes, he
will open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of the deaf. The lame will
leap like a deer, and those who cannot speak will sing for joy!"
O that we would find all of life’s pleasure fulfilled in
knowing Him.
