God's Coloring Book

I like the way you color, Lord
The way you color me
The shades you use, the different hues
As bold as they can be

You never mind the lines, Lord
You color way outside
I like it, though, You let me know
I never have to hide

Sometimes you use a crayon
To color on my page
A marking pen, and now-and-then
A paintbrush takes the stage

The strokes are all so perfect
Each one glides on with ease
Some fat some thin, erasing sin
'Til everybody sees

I think it looks like you, Lord
I never knew you could
Not what I thought, what others taught
You color, oh so good.
