A Chill in the Air
"Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold." Matthew 24:12
Have you noticed the chill in the air? I’m not talking about the change in the temperature of the atmosphere. I’m talking about the change in the temperature of the human spirit, which is a reflection of the soul within.
It seems as though the vast majority of people have forgotten what it means to love, how to do it, and the Author of it.
Have you?
I Thessalonians 4:9 says, “But we don’t need to write to you about the importance of loving each other, for God himself has taught you to love one another."
Do you need a refresher course? Perhaps a little encouragement will do the trick.
Hebrews 10:24 tells us, “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works."
May the chill in our hearts be replaced with the warmth of God’s love, and may we discover the joy and the immense pleasure of God Himself, the very definition of love.
