Can’t Shut Me Up

Have you shared the goodness of God today?

I don't know about you, but I just can't keep my mouth shut about Him.

Recently, I received a call from a headhunter looking to see if I was interested in a risk management position in another state.  

When we were concluding the call, he said, "May I say something to you?"

"Sure," I said.

"I looked at your blog, and may I just say that you've got guts.  I wish more people had guts like that."

I don't think I have guts, and I think it is sad that we all fail to share our faith as we should.  

Is Jesus real to you?  Then, tell somebody!  Has He been good to you?  Tell somebody!  Have you experienced something that could only be explained as the hand of God in your life?  You've got to tell someone!

The Holy Bible tells us in Romans 10:14, "But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?"

You, my friend, are that someone.  So am I.

Billy Graham once told of sharing Christ with a man in prison.  With tears in his eyes, the man said, "Preacher, if what you say is true, I would crawl across the country on broken glass to share this truth with others."

We don't have to crawl across broken glass.  All we have to do is walk across the street, or ask the cashier at the grocery store if we can pray for them, invite the server at the restaurant to pray with us, tell someone what Jesus has done for us today.
