Honor Bound
“I will bring honor to your name in every generation. Therefore, the nations will praise you forever and ever.” Psalm 45:17
Honor can be defined as: to hold in high esteem; revere, dignify, glorify.
The Holy Bible talks a great deal about honor. In fact, honor or a form of honor is used three hundred sixty-six times in the New Living Translation of the Holy Bible.
Being honor bound is to be obliged to one’s personal integrity. That is, doing what is honest, right, and true whether anyone else is watching us or not. It is about the legacy we leave by the way we live the life God has blessed us with—each and every day.
God is always watching.
Are your actions bringing honor to the name of Christ?
Will your actions today bring honor to God for generations to come?
1 Peter 2:12 tells us, "Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world."
May your life and mine be a fragrant offering that honors the name of the Lord your God today and for many generations to come, and may you have the best day you've ever had in your life.

I appreciate you spending some time and effort to
put this short article together. I once again find myself
spending a significant amount of time both reading and
posting comments. But so what, it was still worth it!
