Forgive me, Lord, for all my wrongs

Your will is where my heart belongs

Forgive me when my faith is weak

When of Your love I fail to speak

Forgive me for the harms I cause

The times I disobey Your laws

Forgive me when I’m like this earth

Chasing things of empty worth

Forgive me for the chances missed

Too many of them here to list

I lay these things now at Your feet

And kneeling at your mercy seat

Your goodness draws me to repent

For by Your love Your Son You sent
