Day 16

"You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence." Acts 2:28

Enjoyed resting and fasting today.  The weekend was so busy that I really needed the rest.  Four pounds down now, and it feels good.

Church and Sunday School were a much-needed recharge to the batteries.  Many answered prayers.  A beautiful lady I worked with some years ago, now battling cancer under her tongue, had a successful surgery a couple of weeks ago.  Her name is Molly, and she was back in church today, looking and speaking beautifully.  Many unspoken requests answered, and many in the works, I am sure.

We had a brief visitor in the form of a stray dog that followed Dan and Little Bear home late last night.  And, in another answered prayer, someone who knew the owner drove by as Dan and Dylan took the two dogs on their walk this evening.
