If Tomorrow Never Comes
“For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being.” Job 12:10
What if today was your last day on earth? Would knowing that cause you to do anything differently?
We should live every day that God has blessed us with as though it was our very last, for we know not when that day will come.
James 4:14 tells us, “How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.”
It may not be death that ends our life on this earth. There is a day coming when our Lord and Savior will return to take us home.
I Thessalonians 5:2 says, “For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night.”
Do you know someone who needs to know the Savior? The Holy Bible tells us that today is the day of salvation. One day it will be too late for us to receive Him as Savior and Lord.
2 Corinthians 6:2 reminds us, “For God says, ‘At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.’ Indeed, the ‘right time’ is now. Today is the day of salvation.”
May we never forget to make the most of the time we are given, and every opportunity we have in these evil days (Ephesians 5:16).
