Caught in a Whirlwind
"I, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, will act for you with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and storm and consuming fire.” Isaiah 29:6
Have you ever seen a whirlwind up close and personal? The power in those things is enormous, sweeping away everything and everyone in its path. You can’t fight one and win.
Sometimes life’s circumstances make us feel as though we are caught in a whirlwind. We feel as though we have been swept away. We keep fighting, but we feel there is no way we can win.
Let me remind you that there is a power greater than this whirlwind of circumstance you are fighting. That power is God, and He promises to fight your whirlwind with a whirlwind of His own.
He promises to act for you with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and storm and consuming fire.
Some circumstances in life are of our own making. But, when Satan tries to get the victory over God’s redeemed, remember whose side you’re on.
You have all the power of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies at your disposal.
