The Amazing Journey

"I have traveled on many long journeys. I have faced danger from rivers and from robbers. I have faced danger from my own people, the Jews, as well as from the Gentiles. I have faced danger in the cities, in the deserts, and on the seas. And I have faced danger from men who claim to be believers but are not.” 2 Corinthians 11:26

When we accept Christ by faith as our Savior, our rescuer, our liberator—we begin an amazing journey with Him. He is our guide, and He takes us to places we never dreamed of visiting.

He leads us on some of the most difficult, heart-wrenching, painful journeys to the top of the highest mountains—eclipsing Sir Edmund Hillary’s expedition to the summit of Mount Everest—filling us with indescribable joy, awe, and wonder.

He directs us through treacherous and often frightening passageways to discover beauty and new worlds we never imagined—more awesome than Christopher Columbus.

Along this journey it is required that we trust Him . . . completely.

It is required that we lean on Him . . . fully.

He alone knows the way.

He has all the supplies for the journey.

He is all we will ever need.

Psalm 34:9 tells us, “Fear the Lord, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need.”

May we trust absolutely in our Guide, and continue our amazing journey with Him.
