A Prayer for Little Bo Peep's Sheep
Do you remember this nursery rhyme?
LITTLE BO PEEP
Little Bo-Peep has lost her sheep,
And can't tell where to find them;
Leave them alone, And they'll come home,
Wagging their tails behind them.
Little Bo Peep may not know where to find her sheep, but no matter where you are, God knows exactly where to find you. Ezekiel 34:11 says, “For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search and find my sheep."
John 10:11 goes on to say, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep."
I don't know about you, but I'd much rather have Jesus Christ as my shepherd.
If you've been lost in Little Bo Peep's pasture, won't you answer the call of the Good Shepherd today?
Dear Heavenly Father,
I've been so lost, wandering away from You. I thank you for sending your son to give His life for my sin. I need You. I give my life to You.
Please be the Shepherd of my life.
