No Pain, No Gain

As a child, and even as an adult, my father has disciplined me with harsh words and actions in situations where I wanted to take the easy way out. At times, my wicked heart challenged his words with the thought that no one else was doing it this way.
Anticipating my wicked heart, my father would always remind me that this was God's way, regardless of what anyone else was doing.
God sees and He is a rewarded of those who diligently seek him.
