Joyful Promise Fulfilled
"When they saw the star, they were filled with joy!" Matthew 2:10
Have you ever waited expectantly for something to come? A promise. A hope. You had the faith to believe it would happen, but there was no sign of anything happening. Maybe you waited years. Your faith may have waivered a bit. You may have asked yourself, "Is this really going to happen as I believe God has promised, or is it just my imagination?"
When the wise men saw the star, it was the fulfillment of a promise--their hope. It was the thing they had the faith to believe would happen, though there had been no sign of anything for years.
This Christmas, may you be filled with joy as you wait expectantly for the promises and hopes Christ brings to all of us.
