Joy Comes in the Morning

Have you ever cried yourself to sleep? Perhaps you've done it so many times you've lost count. Maybe you're like King David who said, "My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all day long, "Where is your God?" Psalm 42:3.

You may feel more like this, "I am worn out from sobbing. All night I flood my bed with weeping, drenching it with my tears." Psalm 6:6

The Bible never promises us that we won't cry while we're here on earth, but it does promise us this, "Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy." Psalm 126:5

There's an old gospel song called, "Joy Comes in the Morning." My favorite refrain in the song says, "Hold on, my child. Joy comes in the morning!"

If you need to find a lieu de joie--a place of joy--for your soul today, find it in communion with the Father through prayer and reading His Word. His glorious promises are endless.

"For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning." Psalm 30:5

May you have the best day you've ever had in your life.

Trying this again logged in as myself instead of the blogger whose template I'm installing!

Psalm 30:5 was my mother's favorite verse, and it's very special to me, too.

I hope you're enjoying your new template!
Hey Priscilla! Love your blog! Can't wait to read more from you!

If you are conducting polls, how about this one..."Do your prefer white lights or multi-color lights on your Christmas tree?" It's not quite as polarizing as the "should the toilet paper hang over or under on the roll" issue, but still seems to provoke some emotion.
