Joy in Discipline

Job 5:17 says, “But consider the joy of those corrected by God! Do not despise the discipline of the Almighty when you sin."

Do you remember a time recently when you experienced discipline? I sure do! Discipline is never a pleasant experience when we are going through it. Yet, it produces the fruit of the Spirit in our lives: love, joy, peace, gentleness, kindness, patience, etc.

I am grateful for God's loving discipline in my life today.
